Classes take place at Plant the Future, a beautiful plant store in Little River, located at 8484 NE 2nd Ave.

During the hot summer months, sessions are usually held indoors, while in the cooler fall and winter seasons, we alternate between indoor and outdoor settings.

Do I need a handpan ? How much do they cost ?

High-quality handpans will be available for students to use during class sessions, though we recommend having your own instrument to practice at home.

For those on a budget, you can find entry-level handpans for around $250 on Amazon—these can work for the duration of the course (and may even be returned within 30 days).

Professional-grade handpans typically range from $1,700 to over $3,500 USD. We also have a limited selection of excellent instruments from Sew Handpans available for purchase, priced between $1,700 and $2,500.

During the workshops and first classes, we’ll review these options in detail and help guide you toward the handpan that best suits your needs.

★★★★★ Emily

“I started taking handpan lessons from Jonathan two years ago on a whim, simply because I wanted to learn something new and loved the sound. Little did I know that it would be something that brings me immense joy and so much of that has to do with the classes and community Jonathan has created. I leave each class a happier person than when I showed up.”
